En gedigen samling av 2000 spesielt utvalgte sluttspillstudier med opp til og med 7 brikker, sortert etter temaer. To norske komponister gjør seg sterkt bemerket: Jarl Ulrichsen med hele 15 og Geir Sune Tallaksen-Østmoe med 4 studier.

Det har blitt populært å framheve at sluttspillstudier er ypperlig trening for å bli veldig god i sjakk. Dette er gjennomgående krevende stillinger å løse fra start. Samtidig er dette en samling av mange ypperlige kunstverk å glede seg over på sjakkspillets område.
