"Endelig" første bok om en Carlsen-variant. Etter partiet hans mot Wojtaszek i Kashmir 2018 ble varianten 1 e4 c5 2 Sc3 d6 3 d4 cxd4 4 Dxd4 Sc6 5 Dd2 litt populær å prøve også av de store gutta. Magnus fortsatte med b3, Lb2 og 0-0-0.

USA-bosatte danske FM Carsten Hansen er en dyktig sjakkbokforfatter og leverer som ventet en ryddig og god pionerbok om denne åpningsvarianten. Det er et visst kvalitetsstempel også at stormester Simon Williams har skrevet forordet.
